Rivals. I dont trust 247 at all when they have editors who have no inside connections. Plus, there is no reason a US Army All American should be a 3*.

UH picked up Gray this weekend.

4 Star on 247

Actually your 4* star is a 4* with the composite...he is actually a 3 star in 247sports.com rankings...

My bad, I didn't look at each individual team. I just looked at the conference team rankings and saw UCF was the only one with a 1 or more in the 4 category. Payton is a 4 star and in the top 100 overall on espn and a 4 star rivals top 150 so maybe thats why his composite is higher than the 247 rating?

247 probably hasn't been updated yet. Congrats, sounds like a great get.

Rivals. I dont trust 247 at all when they have editors who have no inside connections. Plus, there is no reason a US Army All American should be a 3*.

247 is more legit then Rivals. Not that it really matters.

Inside connections? Like bribing dudes to boost your rating? 247 is far more fair, extensive, and accurate

Not for Temple, it's not. Explain to me how someone with offers from Florida, Michigan State, Clemson, Duke, BC, Indiana, GA Tech, Louisville, Nebraska, Maryland, UNC, Northwestern, PSU, Pitt, Rutgers, Syracuse, UVA, WVU, Wisconsin, Temple, UConn, Iowa, Purdue, and is an All American is a 3*?

No, like knowing that the person who claimed to commit to Temple doesn't have an offer and is walking on, the person who committed to Idaho and claimed a Temple offer and was taking an OV to Temple wasn't even being recruited by Temple, and that two others currently on the commit list had their offers pulled for academics.

Our editor for 247 takes recruits' word for it rather than actually asking anyone affiliated with our football program.

There's no difference between a low five star to a high three star

Idk, maybe you know something that they don't. I've always thought offer lists are the best way to tell how good a recruit is or atleast how much potential he has. But it is hard to tell what offers are still currently "committable"

Probably because its a blatant recruiting violation for someone associated with the program to give info on recruits

There is just no way to know if they are still currently committable or not. How do you know how many kids any of those schools are taking at that position and if their quota has been filled or not. At one time, those offers were definitely committable but maybe not anymore if some schools filled all their needs at that position with higher rated guys (could be higher rated on their board not recruiting website rankings).

USF is a juggernaut in this conference in recruiting. I thought UCF was having a good weekend but USF 1 up them. Taggart is a special coach

They definitely have been recruiting well. But UCF landed the highest rated recruit in the conference, I believe according to ESPN, Rivals, and maybe even 247. So idk about one upping us this weekend. But their class is definitely better than ours on paper as it looks right now. Just wait until signing day.

UConn was down to 65 scholarship players in 2014. Only 60 could play in the last game against SMU.

Maybe we're going for so many players this year that quality is suffering a little. I think we'll be ok, eventually. It's going to take two or three years. Memphis wasn't turned around in one year.

I damn well know how it works. If you don't think coaches talk to Rivals, Scout, 247, etc. publishers off the record at every school, ECU included, you're delusional.
