I think the #FreeUAB people got to these refs. UAB gets nearly all calls or no calls.

It's about to be 30 FT attempts vs 7 FT attempts.

Congrats to UAB but the refs were just terrible. It's hard to beat a home team, CUSA needs a neutral tourney like all the other conferences

UAB just won. La Tech collapsed at the end of the 2nd half and in overtime.

If they would actually rotate the tournament then I would love for them to keep it that way. I don't like rotating it to Birmingham, El Paso, and Miami. Go to all the schools.

I didn't have a dog in this fight, but I have to admit that it was a satisfying result.

Ya know, they might go neutral if they could actually get someone to show up. It's hard enough to get people up in El Paso & B'ham to come see 200+ RPI teams and names that they haven't even heard of.

Y9u have to put a tournament near Where fans are.

This was a neutral court not Bartow.

I don't see this as any different than the acc playing in Greensboro where there are 4 acc schools within an hour drive.

I loved seeing UAB win and La Tech lose.

Not even close, 3 minutes from the campus and in Birmingham with 8,000 thousand UAB fans. This was a home tournament for UAB, as such that have the best shot of winning just like UTEP last year
