ODU: several very douchey fans that dogged out the conference as ******. a ****** conference they couldn't win.

La Tech: several very douchey fans.

UTEP: still can't stand Floyd from his UNO days. Have always thought he was sketchy. WAS sketchy at USC. Great recruiter. Brings in the talent.

Teams I didn't hate on:

FAU: didn't make it. no opportunity to hate.

FIU: didn't really even hate them when isaiah thompson was their head coach. loved ole sergio rouco back in the day.

Marshall: our series is too young to really do any hating just yet. but they are fairly close so I could see it happening

USM: didn't make it. can't really hate on Doc Holiday. I woulda had a whole truckload of hate if fat tub of goo Donnie Tyndale was still there.

Charlotte: old sun belt buddy. never really hated them back then. still don't hate now.

BTW, I really dig those "BIRMINGHAM" jerseys. Y'all need to get a "F*** TUSCALOOSA" set.

UAB wore them in the program's first years and as best I recall the Trustees banned them back in the early 80's. Mike Davis got away with bringing them out a few times, calling it a throwback jersey. that criticism has never meant he can't win 'a' tourney game. it's meant that any time there's a chance to get an ncaa invite out of a tourney he's ZERO for lifetime at middle. he's never won a tourney in the sun belt or the c-usa. ever. he always chokes. the one year he made it in the sun belt as an at-large (that went against every thing the committee had ever done) with a good team he choked like he always does in a play in game.

Most of the ODU fans were complaining about the scheduling policy we all had and how we should schedule up for us to improve our conference profile for getting multiple bids as a conference. I agree we had a couple of "douchy" like you said fans that were running their mouth just like you are doing now. So shut the hell up and don't run your who** mouth on most of the fans on some fan bases. May be you should head home and worry about scheduling a better ooc for the league to avoid having a single bid discussions going further and yes i know ODU's ooc is not star studded either and we have our sights set on that. Thank you.

Thank you. I love this conference and I love this group if fans. I think if we can all improve our OOC and the bottom half of this league can stay out of the 200 range we can be a two to three bid league most years.

it's not our job to get you into the ncaa. that's your job. which you didn't do. after a bunch of your fans ran the conference down for not getting you in before conference play.

every fan wants our conference to do better ooc. i do. but your fans trashed c-usa before a league game was played. i expected you to run the table with all the smack you were doling out.

and you didn't. i wasn't surprised because i've always thought jeff jones was a mediocre coach. not a bad coach. a mediocre one. you had a very nice schedule this year. let's see how you do with your return games in ooc next year.

i'm happy to be in a conference with schools that actually care about hoops. not the sun belt where the championship game was a 38-36 final this year. but douchitude by a fanbase can make you happy they didn't win it. that was the case with me and odu this year.

btw. just came from the baseball game where we took the series. finnie tried to get cute with some situational pitching changes. didn't work out. good guys 9 bad guys 5. good guys win the series 2-1.

Dude seriously i didn't say one thing about odu begging wku to get us in to the tourney. Perception as a league matters and its upto each member of the conference to play their role in making it better and look like we are good conference and actually being a good conference. I am not saying ODU's schedule is incredible because it is not and we all know that. This season Charlotte played the best OOC among CUSA teams and yes you can debate about it. When you say our fans are talking crap even before league play began yes they were because we know if we falter in the league play there's no way we get a bid because take a look at our OOC record as a conference we are just turrible and you can give me all the excuses in the world but NCAA selection committe isn't going to be convinced one bit. And yes thanks for reminding that its up to each team to how to get there but there's is a thing or two that all the members can do to change that. If most of the conference has done decent in ooc we wouldn't be having multiple threads about us being single bid conference and that is not me being pompous about ODU. We were good at home but we flat out fell on our face in road games. I say lets start the change and i am all for ODU being the front runner of that change. Congratulations on the baseball series win. Go CUSA

Thank you. It was so much fun for attending all those games at the tournament this past week, really enjoyed ODU's presence and spirit there. I wish the Monarchs much success in the NIT this week. A 1 or 2 seed if I recall right. Win that thing!
