Yep, even square ol' me. I dig the Roots, Basehead, Badu, etc.... and Vonnegut is my favorite writter. Don't tell anyone or they will come take my NRA and Registered Republican cards away. :shhh:

lmfao And what the f's a writter? I don't know Rath, sounds like a closet left winger if you ask me. :shhh:

Republicans are the true party of inclusion and open mindedness. Someday you will understand and join the counterculture that is Conservatism.

Up with corporationss, down with non profits. Turn off the power and see how long liberals would survive!

I think I'd do alright without power. I didn't have heat all this past winter, though I would require batteries so I could listen to my cd player.

We would survive by eating the rich.

Actually, I'd have a hell of a time living without my music collection, but even liberal me has enough fishing gear and enough know-how to live off of the land. Not saying I would want to, mind you, but I could.
haha I learned a lot of the basics in the Boy Scouts.

Zig, are you going to Lollapalooza or Bonaroo?

Unfortunately not. My buddies who were attended Bonnaroo in years past feel that Bonnaroo has "sold out" by adding the music I like to listen to, so they are boycotting it. No dice on Lollapalooza as of yet, woulda liked to score some of those early $60 tickets though. But I'll be attending the Pitchfork Music Festival in Chicago with my cousin in mid-July.

Many, Many african americans have spoke up against the vulgar rap music. Where have you been?

Quote:only in pc america can imus get fired yet drug dealers sell millions of dollars in records talking about dealing drugs, running from police, shooting police, and demean black women.

These guys are not real drug dealers, they are pretending. Just as jame gandofini is not the head of a mob. What goes on a record or radio is often way out of the hands of the artist. I think the difference with imus and rap/hip hop is that imus was refering to actual people while rap is just made up. I won't defend hardcore rap but it's not the same as what imus did.

I for one don't believe he should have been fired. I'm glad he was though. I thought trent lott got a bad deal. I think when america takes this type of action it shows that many white americans are over racism and blacks no longer need to look for racism in everything. Calling Obama "clean" is not racist or even hints at it.

Quote:the "black" leadership is so lost.

I disagree. Over the last few years I am respect Rev al more and more. These men respond with peaceful protest and dialogue, techniques that made Dr. King one of the greatest leaders of all time. Would you prefer a more south central LA rioting technique?

Who is jame gandofini?

There are a HECK of a lot more respectable black leaders then Al Sharpton, that man perpetuates hate and does nothing, repeat NOTHING to furhter the cause of race relations. If he and Jessie would go away we might just be able to solve a lot of problems and get along a whole lot better.

Bonaroo is definitely a great time.

Just remember, there is a reason why they are called rich.

Rich, tasty and very filling. Do you prefer rich liberals or rich conservatives? I've found rich liberals to be a little stringy and their tiny bones can choke you. lmfao
