TV? radio contracts
So I found an old SI article that had each league revenues in 2002-03 and listed the following for the Big East
basketball TV/radio rights- 11.354 mill a year
football TV/radio rights- 14.384 mill a year

So basically league pocketed 25.7 mill a year for TV. What was the new number being thrown out there for our new contract?

It also showed that even with basketball tourney money, the non football member schools got about 1.25 mill, while the All sports member got an avg of 5.00 mill. That shows where the money really lies and thats on the football side.

Well, if we divide the number that has been thrown around most, $250 mil divided by 7 years which equals $35.71 mil per year. Then we would have to add in cbs' tv dollars which was I think $4 mil per year.

That would still be less than 1 mill extra per team per year.
