Rift... It's free and the best equipment in game can only be had by playing the game. You can't buy the best stuff so you're on an even playing field.

I'm partial to MMPOGS. I love putting myself up against multiple opponents at once. 04-cheers

I just want to see how Sony spins the lack of exclusives and the fact the pushed all their forthcoming ones to 2016.

I feel like the exclusives arguments is paper thin, seeing as how I'm fairly certain with indies both have roughly the same amount. Both of the major exclusives for each (Halo MC Collection and The Order 1886) were largely broken and underwhelming, so I'm hoping both come back strong this time. I mean, a large portion of my top 10 list are exclusives form both sides, so that should show you there is a lot of forward momentum on both sides. The only thing I'm sure of is Nintendo should just move to software only and license out all their products so the major machines can take a push at them.

I assume you meant me and yes, I do like Nintendo systems and games.

Nah, that was to Purp, I'm all for the Nintendo fans...honestly, I feel like Nintendo has the best IP out of all of the big 3, but they just have no idea how to create purposeful hardware anymore.

I kind of disagree because of the WiiU and what it can do. That said, the Wii was way to underpowered visually from the last generation.

Peripheral-wise, I agree...but there's a reason why all the big developers are staying off the platform, the downscale they'd have to do for their upper-echelon games to play on WiiU is pretty large. I love playing the WiiU when I'm with a buddy who has it, I just don't know if I'd ever buy it myself, having Zelda, Star Fox, and Mario Cart only does so much (now if they built another Fire Emblem for console...then I'd consider it). Once Sony's Morpheus and the Microsoft Hololens come out, I think the peripheral game may swing too. They are no Rift, but they'll be a step up.

Yep, I've already got that on the Radar. The last two FE games for console were excellent (Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn), they should be making another one.

I can't bring myself to buy it at full price so I'm playing witcher 2 again. I will likely buy it when it goes on sale on gog.com at Christmas.

I'm a slightly old school gamer. I grew up with planescape torment, baldurs gate, fallout 1 &2. Love those games. Pillars of eternity is a great new game in the older rpg style.

Are you a Gamers Club Unlocked member at Best Buy? Saves you 20% on all physical games. That and with all the holiday sales and spot sales that have happened my average per game cost is like $30 03-lmfao

No, I typically just buy through gog.com. They have great sales around the holidays. And periodically put things on sale. It's very convenient to just download the game and not have to store a physical box.

Watched some of the Witcher's beginning. It looks very mmoish, it reminds me a bit of elder scrolls online. Would that be accurate? I've never played a Witcher game.

It's a fantasy RPG with no online game mode at all.

Only thing worth noting this week is Game Of Thrones Episode 4 as Splatoon has gotten wrecked by pretty much everybody. In fact the next release of note isn't until June 9th with The Elder Scrolls: Tamriel Unlimited on PS4 and X1.

On the same not as the GoT game, have you checked out Life is Strange? I didn't think I'd like it as much as I do, very cool game.

I honestly had no interest in them either until a buddy pointed me towards episode one of that. If you're into fully immersive stories and interesting game mechanics it's definitely something to check out, even if the dialogue is a little TOO adolescent 03-lmfao
