The University or Richmond dropped their football team. Now they just lay football player shaped doormats on the field.

Just what the Sun Belt and FBS need, another Texas school. That would be 4 FBS teams in the Metroplex alone.

Should U. of Memphis-Lambuth add sports in the future including football?

Is this talk about restarting football for them like 20 years?

As for Little Rock? With the Hogs moving all their home games to Fayetteville? Little Rock would not be in competition using War Memorial Stadium. I do not see any blocking from Fayetteville if Little Rock do restart their program. Little Rock did win the Little Rose Bowl game at the JC level.

If Little Rock wants to restart at the FBS level there's no way in hell the Hogs would allow it. The Hogs renewing their lease at War Memorial all but killed that ambition for now. Also, nobody cares about what their football team achieved as a JUCO 60 years ago. That would not be a factor for the Trojans to restart their team.

You are kidding yourself if you believe the pigs will support Trojan football. They may not directly block the move but they will do everything to make it difficult. None of that really matters anyway when the feasibility study just released a few months ago basically said Trojan football would not be a good idea. It is surprising that the pigs even allowed Little Rock to do a feasibility study.

And the pigs have not moved all games to Fayetteville yet, they signed a new deal with Little Rock in May for another four years.

The way the AD sounds in the article, it seems as if he's only discussing adding football to gauge interest in other sports UWGB should actually add, like track. Having an NFL team in their backyard, and the state flagship exerting influence to keep them at least non-scholarship would not help them out even if they are serious about adding football.

The long-suffering residents of that city might at long last have a football team to follow.

D3 Earlham is cancelling the 2019 football season and probably will drop football. They are cancelling due to a 53 loss streak!

That's too bad. My mom and a niece are Earlham graduates.

Arizona Western To Drop Football

This sad news. They had one of the best college football teams in NJCAA. That only leaves Snow, Eastern Arizona and New Mexico Military in one football conference.

You have been told 100 times on this board and the NAIA board that New Mexico Military joined the Southwest Junior College Football Conference in 2016. It is now 3 seasons since they left the Western States Football League and has played only 1 game against any of those teams during that time.

Eastern Arizona announced that they are ending football.

R.I.P. NJCAA college football in the state of Arizona. No more teams at the lower levels. Only 3 public schools in Arizona with a football team.

Arizona Western I heard was a pipeline for players to start and transfer to an FBS team.
