Maybe Mick was at this year's playoff game where Lasalle absolutely dominated the kid

The older Bazley gets, the more it seems like he will be a bust - the worst kind of AAU-coddled "talent"

You guys that blame all of this stuff on money, what's your explanation for Fickell? Is he paying Vann, White etc?

Bball is a lot more jaded than football given the aau situation. This is a little bit like the Chane B situation a number of years ago. He's a talented player, but i'll be interested to see him next year in high school ball.From what i've seen of him, I don't think he's as good right now particularly offensively as Cumberland was. Could be wrong, but he's got work to do.

i stand by my opinion that mick need's to stop trying to get his recruits to overachieve and to overachieve hisself

We're not North Carolina or Duke. If we get caught, we'll get hammered and Mick knows that. I find it refreshing that he's building the program the right way.

So all of those schools that are recruiting this kid are dirty? Seriously? That is quite a list.

Maybe Mick has seen him play and he doesn't feel like this kid is Bearcat material. You have to be tough to play for Mick and you have to play defense. If you aren't willing to do those two things, there isn't a spot for you on the roster. Mick looks for a certain type of kid. Right or wrong, good or bad, that's how he does it here.
