I think most Temple fans would agree that this is the biggest Owls win in their lifetimes.

Just to set the record straight, our colors are cherry and white. Now sometimes it's bing cherry and others it's maraschino. Hopefully the new UA agreement will get that squared away so that there is a unified cherry tint in all of our garments.

We went down to College Park in 2011 and smashed the Terps early in that season and then came home the next week and lost to an average Toledo team. Coach Rhule mentioned that sequence after this game ( he was our coordinator that year I believe). Which leads me to...

the Bearcats. Yes its going to be a great one. I wish that I could attend at Nippert. To help the Cincinnati fans sleep better, our top defensive lineman in rush defense, Praise Martin-Oguikwe didn't play today, but I think is expecting to go next week. Sweet dreams.

Good P5 win, but still no one really knows how "good" Penn State is. Temple finished .500 last year, despite beating Vanderbilt last year (and we all saw how "good" Vandy ended up being).

I agree it's a huge win for Temple. Any win against the Anointed 5 (or just a win in general) is a good win.

It just doesn't mean Temple is a favorite to win the AAC. Until you play a handful of games, no one really knows how good any specific team is...

I have to say thank you to all on here. Its great to be part of a conference and be able to root for one another unlike the past. It was very refreshing reading all these posts!!

Let's hope the Temple players aren't still celebrating the win and getting patted on the back all week long. I've seen this happen before and the team (not Temple but other teams) come out the next week and lay an egg.
