I will say
1) the all white Unis and helmets look good
2) I remember a TCU game where we started with two 3-and-outs and they started with 2 TDs. After which it was all Rice

It is definitely still early, and jitters could be playing a factor. Yeah, that's what I'm going to tell myself.

Doesn't really work that way. One good decision doesn't outdo a bad one when you're a QB. Terrible sack taken on that play for no reason at all.
