Not sure about that, but what I AM sure about is Golden was out-coached by Tuberville...
No win situation for Golden just like our opening game last year. Poor guy never has had a chance b/c of Miami's transgressions. Congrats Cincy! Miami never had a chance.
What? I hope you're kidding. That team has tons of talent and has no clue what to do with it.

Two timeouts on OFFENSE in a drive where you settle for a FIELD GOAL?
A 40+ yard run given up when your defense is trying to get the ball back?

Frosh had 2 TD to Kaaya's 0. Had more yards. Had better completion %.

Now do you see why we want Golden fired???
Ugh. Every time, he screws us over. Feels like we've lost 2 in a row.

I was afraid of this. There is simply no sense in these type of games. This is exactly what happened w/ the Big East & Mtn. West. The Big East could not get separation from the MWC and it ended up killing the conference, decimating the MWC, annihilating the WAC, and causing massive upheaval in the Cusa & Sunbelt.
How does that happen? Because by being an 'In' conference, if the 'Out conference is that 'close' to the In conference, then that raises the threat that the out will need to be allowed in. At that point the Powers will cut them both loose...
Disaster. STOP take these games against the oh-so-closely-named A-A-C...
Man you are so full of it. If the ACC is such a superior league you should be trying to catch up to the SEC...and not be worrying about the AAC
If you are not good enough to beat AAC teams you would get crushed by (actual P5) teams, so either way you would get exposed. Unless you want to schedule Sun Belt teams...

Miami is a better program, I agree, that was not my point.
By the way, Houston had a 12 - 2 record vs Florida State. I don't think that means anything, but you were the one bringing up History.

Actually I am suggesting Sunbelt Ooc unless we can get P5s. I'm not worried about P5s, they are in the same boat as us and don't necessarily view other P5 matchups as this weeks Super Bowl.
You see, we don't have to prove anything to you. But you are scared we will take the 'stage' away that you have been traipsing across at our expense.
That practice needs to end--that's all i'm saying...

Dating back to like 60 years. It's not like they play every year. Miami beat them last season @ Miami Cincy beat this this season @ Cincy.
It's not a bad loss for Miami. There are several "Power 5" teams that would have gone in there and lost tonight.

So ACC teams are now our "Super Bowl" lol?
No the problem for you is simple. (Not all ACC Fans or Louisville Fans)
The AAC is actually pretty good. We are capable of beating you and not just your bottom teams. What you are worried about it LOSING to us and it ruining your image or potentially closing some weird invisible gap that shouldn't EXIST in "College" sports anyway.
The AAC is 3-3 against the ACC this season with 1 game left to play.
ACC wins:
1. Tulane
2. Tulane
3. USF
AAC Wins:
1. Louisville
2. Miami
3. Virginia Tech
If Syracuse beats USF you get another win over USF. None of our mid to upper teams have lost to you. Only 2 of our bottom teams.
Lastly, a Louisville fan who's team JUST LEFT the AAC is talking about being an AAC Teams Superbowl lol? Everyone in that conference was in a conference with you for EXTENDED PERIODS OF TIME. In either C-USA, the Big East or the AAC. Louisville is No one in the AAC's Superbowl.
Come on... Seriously...

RE: Open Thread - Week 5
It seems there's a huge inferiority complex among some of the ACC faithful. Miami has a ton of talent, but playing at Nippert is difficult - as some former Big East members can attest.
Tubbs is building solid program and if not for turnovers Cincy would, most likely, have been 4-0 going into last nights game and beating Miami would not have been a shock.
Moore has surprised everyone with his poise and skills as a Freshman. He has a very bright future and will be fun to watch over the next 3 years.
By saying the ACC should not schedule AAC games indicates fear and low confidence in your conference and teams. The ACC has some great programs and an occasional loss means nothing. It just proves you can't take anyone for granted.
Here's to a long and productive rivalry!

LOL at these AAC fans running over here. Memphis fans seriously talking any kind of football smack is beyond hilarious. They have literally beaten no one and they are running around like they are a legitimate team. Louisville pretty much owns them in every sport imaginable. When Memphis can claim 2 BCS Bowl victories then you can come back and talk. Until then.....Kansas? Missouri St? Bowling Green? LOL. That might be impressive to the AAC fans but not here. Whats hilarious is Memphis had never won a C-USA Football title. Not once. They have had over a decade of sucking

Funny how old money P5 teams in the ACC have no problems playing anyone but the new money, freshly rescued from G5 status team UL is trying to build a gated community. Maybe PTSD from their time in CUSA?

Ummm, you failed to mention that we beat Cincy. You know the team that just beat Miami.
You are the ones saying you shouldn't schedule us because it makes you look bad. How weak is that?
A Louisville fan talking down to us is pretty funny too. You sound like you have tiny dick syndrome.

We have been in a power conference since 2005. We have left teams like ECU in the dust many years ago. The AAC fans are the ones running over here trying to beat their chest trying to get the approval of ACC fans
AAC be like "Look at me! Look at me!" LOL

Are you freaking kidding me? It's you people who have inundated this board with YOUR insecurities telling us how awesome you are.
It is aac people who are always telling folks how good they are and how they deserve to be in a p5 league. If the aac were so great, that wouldn't be necessary.
