I feel like someone should show you on a map where Huntington is located.

It was tongue and cheek. I am sure the Marshall fans got it. If you get a chance, go through the Marshall roster and look at where all their players are from.

USM amd Marshall are going to be the flagships of cusa for a while. WKU is going to fall off a cliff after Doughty, and Tech is running short on retread QBs.

LA Tech never runs short of "retread QBs". 03-lmfao You CUSA guys might as well get used to LA Tech having good QB's. It's in our DNA. It's our history.

Terry Bradshaw (NFL Hall of Fame)
Tim Rattay (4 NFL teams)
Matt Dunigan (CFL Hall of Fame)
Luke McCown (4 NFL teams, still active)
Zac Champion (3 CFL teams, still active)
Craig Bradshaw (Houston Oilers)
Mickey Slaughter (Denver Broncos)
Colby Cameron (Carolina Panthers)
Cody Sokol (CUSA Newcomer of the Year 2014)
Jeff Driskel (future CUSA MVP?)

As you can see, great QB's are CULTIVATED at LA Tech. We expect our QB's to be great, and they quite often are. And yes, LA Tech has another great QB in the pipeline...but I'm not supposed to tell you about him yet. So I won't. 05-stirthepot

Kind of cute to see Southern Miss begin to get some swagger back.

I was thinking the same thing. 03-lmfao

USM has earned respect throughout the country over many years and we do not find it necessary or appropriate to toot our own horns like some who are famous for their "Watch me mommie, see what I can do mommie". If you cant figure that out then give it some time.

You wouldn't know what the word respect means if it hit you upside your head. After your endless, baseless attacks on LaTech on this board don't try and take the high road as a USM person, because you are disliked by every USM poster on this board I suspect.

I have nothing but respect for the So Miss program. I am tickled to death that you guys are back to winning.

CUSA needs a strong So Miss program if we want to get any respect.

Would love for you guys to still be in the East, but since you're not, guess we will plan to meet in the championship game each season.

Talked with someone who is really knowledgeable about our football program. He gives Zac Woodfin as much credit as the coaches for the turnaround in USM football. It is very visible when you see our team's stamina in the fourth qtr this year and increase in agility and speed. I imagine that there will be a strong push to give Woodfin another sizable increase in income to try and retain him. I love watching him on our sideline during a game interacting with the players and getting excited with them.

HE is why I've bet on us every game this year......been giving him credit as soon as it was announced....I listened to the uab folk when their shite was going down....

I don't think the money we can raise will keep him here......the 'other' schools know about him now....

HE is a stud.....we should have someone studying his methods so we have a solid replacement when Zac leaves for greener pastures.....that's the better move

Anyway, stupid question but doesn't each win after 6 guarantee a higher bowl than the N.O. bowl? I always remembered that the 6-6 team would in the NO bowl. Just looking for clarification. I honestly have forgotten well, because of the past 3 years.

If I'm not mistaken, the Champ chooses, then the league assigns the teams with input from our bowl eligible schools.

This. the Conference champion can choose whatever bowl on the C-USA list.

I'd love to see us in the HOD bowl... but right now, it's just GIMME ANY BOWL invite.
