Lol. I liked your first response better.

Seriously, where conference realignment is concerned, Memphis had everything to gain in that game.

With the emergence of Houston in Big 12 talks, on-field credibility is HUGE in supporting the endorsements that have come.

Meanwhile, the decision makers are left to speculate on Memphis's ceiling, since the Tigers couldnt get it done with an NFL QB, Lynch, or an NFL RB, D. Williams.

I think some of the posts that referred to the game as an eliminator of sorts have some validity. At the very least its symbolically relevant.

You can bet the Presidents will be splitting hairs in their decisions. Has Memphis really separated itself from UConn or UCF? Never even came close to a BCS game, not even in your best ever season.

That game had everything. 2 blown leads or 2 amazing comebacks. A back up QB coming in the Memphis wasnt prepared for torching us for the comeback and go ahead TD. Then the ending with Elliot missing a FG that would have secured the win for Memphis.

I don't know about the Big 12 but what I do know is that was a great game overall with a lot on the line that kept everyone on the edge of their seats.

Damn dude ,you that insecure .What are you going to do if Memphis does get in ? First of all you should have lost that game. We "f" the pooch on that field goal, one that kicker almost never misses. Second this constant assault on Memphis makes me think you are scared. The question you should be asking is how a school in a market the size of Houston, that was in a conference with Texas for twenty years has done as little as you have.

Bringing this back up was not necessary. Please quit posting in it and let it die.

Thank you.
