Nice find! We really need some size. I think I remember us having two players above 6'6" on the current roster.

A hopeful sign. As long as LU predominantly signs kids that are home schooled or from mostly Christian schools the talent pool in the past has shown to be non competitive. Let's hope he's a diamond in the rough.

The best players we have had in the past decade were either homeschooled (Jesse Sanders) or from a Christian school (Seth Curry). I don't care where they went to school as long as they have game. But those who have game from those types of backgrounds tend to be cool with Liberty.

The best would be to get the best athletes are the best kids. Granted LU will/should have an advantage with Christian schools and possibly home schooled. I don't know if stating that the two best recruits were from those backgrounds or if there are a lot more with those backgrounds that were good kids but not good enough to play D1 basketball. As the player pool is much smaller with the home school and Christian school, it just seem wisest to include the best athletic kids from public schools as well who are also good kids.

You hit the nail on the head for me. I don't care to judge future individuals on how past individuals performed. There are many factors that contribute to the success of a player.
