11/22 - Rank the B1G
I've been talking for weeks about the Michigan-Ohio State game deciding the East. Shame on me for overlooking Sparty!

Predicted final record in parenthesis.

1) Michigan (10-2) Now the best team in the B1G, in my opinion. The botched punt vs. MSU continues to haunt them.
2) MSU (11-1) I couldn't believe what i was watching yesterday. Honestly I was shocked by their win yesterday and give them a ton of credit. Michigan State always seems to be underestimated and makes non-believers pay. My sentimental favorite from here on out.
3) OSU (10-2) A bad loss, but now the seem sounds checked out on the rest of the year. It will be interesting to see if Meyer can reel them back in. Otherwise, I think they'll lose again to Michigan.
4) Iowa (12-0) It pains me to rank the last undefeated B1G team 4th, but it's really tough for me to resolve them as better than any of the top 3 in the east.
5) Northwestern (10-2) - Congrats to the Wildcats with their win over the Badgers yesterday.
6) Wisconsin (9-3) - I should knock these guys down a few more spots for throwing snowballs at the cheerleaders! Come on!
7) Nebraska (5-7) - I think they are very capable of beating Iowa next week to get to bowl eligibility. It will be an interesting game.
8) PSU (7-5) - PSU aiming to spoil MSU's season this week. I think MSU will win.
9) Minnesota (5-7) - Needs to get past Wisconsin to get bowl eligible.
10) Illinois (5-7) - Needs to get past Northwestern to get bowl eligible.
11) Indiana (6-6) - Needs to get past Purdue to get bowl eligible.
12) Maryland (3-9) - Surprised Maryland lost yesterday. I don't think they'll lose to rutgers though.
13) Purdue (2-10) - Why is Hazell coming back next year?
14) Rutgers (4-8) - I went to West Point yesterday for the game. What an experience! I highly recommend going if you haven't had a chance.

RE: 11/22 - Rank the B1G
1. (2) Iowa: I debated between the Spartans and Hawkeyes here. Both have strong resumes and I switched this a few times before deciding on Iowa. Their 3 wins over Pitt, Northwestern, and Wisconsin continue to look very strong.
2. (3) Michigan State: Their resume looks as even better than Iowa's with wins over Oregon, Michigan, and Ohio State. I was very close to putting them #1.
3. (4) Michigan: For the first time since they played, I'm not 100% sure I'd take the Wolverines in a rematch with the Spartans. I think Michigan State has gotten better and I had them a little over-rated before. That said, I'm not sure I wouldn't either. Either way, I think they deserve to be favorites vs. my Buckeyes this week.
4. (1) Ohio State: We all knew their was problems on offense, but it being that bad was shocking. The defense allowed a lot of short runs, but can't be blamed too much when they were on the field more than a full quarter more than the offense. I was very close to pushing the Buckeyes back further.
5. (6) Northwestern: They beat Wisconsin in a close win. This was a great turnaround season for the Wildcats.
6. (5) Wisconsin: Close loss vs. Northwestern. This is a good team, but things haven't gone it's way in a few crucial spots.
7. (7) Penn State: Not horrible vs. Michigan.
8. (8) Nebraska: Given rough start, they need to beat Iowa to be bowl eligible. The Michigan State victory looks better still this week. Too many close losses this year, but not horrible team.
9. (9) Minnesota: Somewhat disappointing season, but looking up some now.
10. (14) Indiana: Finally! I've been of the opinion this Indiana team is actually decent for awhile, but I wasn't going to move them up till they got a conference win. They had a big victory vs. Maryland and now will fight for the Old Oak and Bucket and to be bowl eligible.
11. (10) Illinois: If they can upset Northwestern, they can get to a bowl.
12. (11) Purdue: The Boilermakers still only have 2 conference wins in 2 years. They do seem somewhat better though.
13. (12) Maryland: Play Rutgers this week for 1st conference win. Winner might well move above Purdue at least.
14. (13) Rutgers: Play Maryland with a chance to move up.

RE: 11/22 - Rank the B1G
I think Ohio has it mostly right. I would make a few changes.

I'd switch Indiana and Illinois. So Indiana to 10 and Illinois to 11. Then I'd switch Maryland and Rutgers. I want the Terps to win but it just isn't happening this year. I was trying to tell people about the Indiana game…but oh well. Take RU at home this coming week (man this is going to be a S**T show.

Last I was originally going to say MSU over Iowa but after looking at records/wins vs other teams and thinking about it…I think you got it right.
