Stanford really doesn't have a chance vs Oklahoma. that 1 extra loss hurts them big time there.

Zero chance that TCU doesn't get in. Ohio St is going to jump them at #3?? Please. They lost to Virginia Tech.

Sorry, not going to happen.

No point in wasting our fingers for 20 posts over this. We'll just see. You'll probably be right, but the chance is there just as it ended up being there last year. 04-cheers

Plus, college football will be better off with only four P conferences.

It was always meant to be this way, with four slots in the playoff.

There is no chance. If Oklahoma wins tonight, they are in the playoff. Period. Not a damn thing Stanford could do about it.

There's no penalty for rigidly pronouncing the future on a message board. 04-cheers

I think the point that you can't take anything for granted with the committee, but things look good for OU if they win.

Problem is going to be winning. As we saw with TCU- Baylor this sort of weather turns a game into a crap shoot. OU has a good running game and defense, so they seem to made for this, but it comes down to taking care of the ball.

I was thinking earlier that the field in Death Valley for the Notre Dame game was better than the field at TCU tonight and Clemson has a natural grass field.

TCU has natural grass, not turf.

Then you need to spend some money and get it fixed.

We had 7" of rain. I think the turf held up very well.
