SOFT SOFT easily butthurt fanbases. It's very disappointing. Look, you guys may be mad, but take out your ridiculous amounts of players going down, take out our fans booing(which you are just so so mad about) and it was a pretty great game, with swings throughout. Shame no one wants to see that.

Hey, dude, I have given your football team plenty of props today. But many of your fans have done nothing to deserve anything but ridicule.

Maybe you need to work on understanding the game a bit more. WKU was just running clock by then. They weren't in hurry-up mode. Faking injuries was useless at that point.

USM did the same thing at the Tech game when Tech was moving the ball in the first half. It looked suspect also .

I don't remember that......I remember you guys coming back and getting within 7.....the boys in camo across the aisle were flippin' us off as we were saying, "still down by 7"......

that's fun shite....that's how you do it.....

oh wellzy......selective mammaries.....they are sensitive....

Three injuries on defense when Tech was moving the ball, all three lead to TV breaks and stop Tech offense. Either way is was good move by Monken

Nice little jab. That sorry team called SMU resides in Dallas.

05-stirthepot Lol!

Talk about a sore winner.. What, are you 12 years old? Just celebrate your well deserved win with class.

Just go back the last 7 days and read some of the posts your "classy" fans made leading up to the game. When you do, just STFU! #Scoreboard

And I never made one of them. But smack talk before a game is generally acceptable. But booing injured players is total crap.

Sorry, you are wrong. 90% never returned. Check the stats. Of the few who returned only one returned on the next play. On your last TD drive we only had four starters on the field.

Look, it got to the point where several folks around us were checking the numbers of the players who were injured and when they came back in. But it's all moot now, game's over, move on to the bowl games. Wish all CUSA teams well in those!

Only 16k at the game? Meaning only 14,500-15,000 WKU fans came to one of your biggest football games in school history?

Is that really the true attendance from today???!

Good point but it still doesn't excuse their behavior.

Who knows really? I deleted the game so i cant watch it. It was third time it happen and the linebacker got up then fell to the ground. And was fine after he got to the sideline. If Monken was using all the tools in the tool shed no shame in that and he called a hell of a game.

It looked like more than that, but maybe not.

Just means that for those of us that were there, there's that much more pride to go around.

Dunno, stink it might have been his worst... I"ll have to go through the stats at some point later.

But you are right. When Kalen went out, you could just see the difference in the Defense... he and when Smith went down. The DL lost it's punch after michael went out for a while.

the first interception was all nerves....that was definitely a wtf moment.....I don't have a clue what DJ was doing on that last one.....

there is no doubt this wasn't anything close to a good game for Nick.....he overthrew and short armed 'em.......so did doughty at times.......however, I see this as a learning experience for Nick......this game is one of those that should provide a deeper foundation when under similar pressure situations next year....

the nerves got to him today......he has to figure that one out moving forward.....this was the biggest game he had participated in to date (IMO)

I'm certain Nick won't sleep well tonight......and he'll wake up tomorrow thinking about how to work as hard as possible so that doesn't happen again....

I'd go into battle with the young man......and I'm betting he learns from this in spades...

You guys did everything you needed to do to win the game....

screw the cheap shot, ref, feigning injuries.....screw all the bullshite.....

I said it before the game was over......you guys won it fair and square when it's all said and done....

however......

I understand both LT and WKU fans thinking our players were faking injuries.....

and yes, it's easier when one is sitting in front of the tv than in the stands to understand what is really going on......

it sucks that many will remember the wku fans booing our injured players more than how good of a game this was......two really good teams played today.....that's what I'll remember......and unfortunately, I will also remember that I'm thankful I didn't travel to this game and most likely will not consider any future games in bg b/c of that.....that sucks.....I highly doubt I'll be alone in that category.....

there is no way any of you guys will convince me that any of the injuries were intentionally feigned.....yep, only the coaches/players really know the answer......and I Trust in Monken......

I just don't see him doing that.....especially, over and over and over and over and over and......if there is one thing that Monk has shown this southern miss fan, is integrity and hard work is where his head lives AND how this translates to how our players 'fight' on the field.....some around here don't like his bluntness at times.....wimpy moves and shyster tactics is not close to what he's about.....and it's not what southern miss football has ever been about

everyone that's ever played any sport at mid/higher levels understands 'gamesmanship'......

today and last week was about none of that IMO....and yeah, I think that is a fair opinion....
