We barely beat a terrible 6-6 uconn team. We left alot of points on that field with clock management errors, and other blunders, but Hey, lets ignore all that because we won! No sense in talking about opportunities, lets forget it because we won.

Yes we won. Glad for that, but man oh man, i do love it when you superfans come out against a guy that has not missed a home game in nearly 20 years, and is a big green donor and has a room full of herd memorabilia. But hey, Im just no a good fan, because im not blind to opportunities that are missed. We should have never have hae Birdsong start a game. Littom was by and far more talented from the start. Even such, a QB change should have occured at Ohio at half and we probably win. Same ole vs MTSU, we got outcoached and lost. Smith should have kicked those balla instead of a kickoff specialist, and we should havr went for a few 4th downs that could have changed the outcome. It was a blunder and those little things bite you in the ass in tight games like that. As for WKU, they were better than us.

Its just like basketball, when all we read is how amazing we are gonna be etc and i got blasted for saying we hear that every year and lets see a couple games first... we see how that turned out.

I am proud of my Herd, but they are not immune to my objective opinion, just like every other team in our conference. Always said, i speak my mind the way i see it. No bones about it. Pray, give me an opposing viewpoint or refute my argument, but the BS fallacies, deflection, and personal crap gets old. Grow up,

I have no doubt that if we would have stuck with him and he continued to miss....then you would be on here talking about how dumb our coaches were for not trying someone else.

Or if we had went for it and not got it, you would have said how dumb it was to go for it instead of kicking a FG.

Everyone is a great coach the following day when you know the outcome.
Nope. You have to leave him in unless you have a competent back up. Not the kick off specialist. I am not one who criticizes just to be bitching. You know this fly, we rarely disagree.

Smith was done that night.. he was on the sidelines crying his eyes out.. He'd already broken down and cracked mentally you can't put thst kid back in the game at that point in my opinion.. He was in his own head and overwhelmed by the moment.. He needed the time on the bench to gather himself.. Now some of your other points about all the missed opportunities and points left on the field are valid.. Some of our offensive play calling was suspect and it kept us from finishing drives and our clock management to end the half was indeed poor.. However, the point is to win and that's what we did.. Sometimes you win ugly and when you don't play your best.. Same for coaching too sometimes you win despite a few poor coaching calls.. I'd also point out I thought we had a few good coaching calls to help us win as well.. Heater's defensive game plan was flawless after their scoring drive he made the proper adjustments and they did little to nothing else.. I also thought outside of the red zone we did a great job of exploiting their defense and the play call for the TD to Yuracheck was an excellent call.. And at the end of the day we won.. So why only focus on those negative plays and calls?

Ahhh, the logic that allows one to ignore bad coaching. Coaching has more of an effect on outcomes o games at this level than you give credit for. More often than not, these guys are all athletes and are no seperated by some insurmountable gap. But when a good coach puts together good game plans and puts said athletes in a position where they can just make basic plays and win (harbaugh, meyer for example), they usually do better than those with vanilla playcalling and base defensive schemes. You cant always outrun who you are playing by enough to make a big enough difference, but you certainly outsmart them. That happens to us with teams with less in the stable quite often. Hopefully Doc learns and gets better in game planning and game management. But if that happens, thats when he gets hired away.

You are a blithering moron. We were beaten by who??? WKU. Better than us...on paper...on the field... MTSU.. Sorry guys.. But a bad kicker and a tough place to play..they play as well there as we do at the Joan. And at Ohio.rival game.... Anything can happen..

Why don't you go and stick an umbrella up your ass and open it..you are a pathetic excuse for a fan. We won. But that's not good enough for you. God wasted a perfectly good phallus when he put ears on you.
sorry mods, but that guy should be named Stanley... Cause he is a tool.

All right, anybody who wants to pick on anybody in class, aim for goherd24herdfans, 'cause I'm not watchin'.

Here goes....
