They're all for big government. Bernie's for bigger government than anyone else, so knock him out first.
Big government conservative, big government liberal, either way we get screwed.

There is a difference. Trump is an authoritarian. Politics doesn't work any more because people like you are never satisfied with a compromise. That is why we need a dictator to lead us. It's the only way work gets done.

Correction .. Republican, Democrat establishment and us for voting for them are f-ing idiots. Exactly what Trump and Bernie are saying!
Bernie will make it worse. Trump, for all his bluster, won't change what needs to be changed. Where have you heard a specific plan from Trump--except make Mexico pay for a wall that Mexico is not going to pay for? We are on the road to ruin, and nobody has any ideas to get us off it.

A compromise between two bad ideas is going to be a bad idea. If a dictator has to lead us to get it done, it almost certainly shouldn't be done. I would compromise to get something good done, I've proposed a number of such compromises on here. But I don't see any good compromises being proposed by anyone else and rejected by me. I don't see any being proposed at all.
What compromise has been offered that I--or "people like" me--have not been satisfied with? Who do you think are "people like" me? I haven't seen any willingness for genuine compromise on the part of anyone on any side. Have you? When and how and what was involved?

Trump doesn't "scare" me. He is a billionaire and he made the money himself. He has owned thousands of businesses over his career and all the establishment could come up with is Trump University (where people liked it until it didn't work for them), polish workers (we are talking over 30 years ago), and taxes (where any real lawyer would agree that they would not allow any taxes to be released until the end of the audit). A crazy man would not be this successful or have such a lack of good dirt on him. He has a persona, which is his celebrity, but behind that, he is smart and extremely competent. He is not an ideologue and therefore he will never sound like a politician. However, that's the appeal of Trump. He also seems like someone who keeps his word. Dude is flipfloppy as can be, but I think if he unequivocally says he will do something, according to those that deal with Donald, he follow s though. personally, last year, I could never see myself voting for Trump. But he is one of my two top choices after I started giving it some real thought.

They are desperate now because they've been idiots in the past.
Republicans had it all going for them after the 1994 elections. Then they let their visceral hatred of all things Clinton get the best of them and they took their eye off the ball to go chasing Monicagate. Bill was a guy they could have worked with. They could have gotten the Heritage health care proposal passed and he would have signed it, and we would never have had to deal with the Obamacare monstrosity. There's a decent chance that we could have gotten bin Laden if everybody had been pulling together. Then GWB got elected promising to cut the size of the federal government and get us out of he nation building business, and proceeded to do a 180 on both. Not surprising, since his father got elected by promising no new taxes and then did a 180 on that. They've gotten totally away from any historic principle of conservatism--small government, balanced budget, minimal intrusion into private lives, maximum personal and economic freedom, minimal involvement in internal affairs of other nations, speak softly but carry a big stick.
GWB totally screwed the pooch, from picking Cheney as his VP to getting into wars that we didn't fight to win and letting them dominate his administration to looking totally helpless as the economy declined. Until republicans repudiate GWB and get back to the historic conservative message, they are doomed, and quite frankly, they deserve to be.

I implore you to look beyond personality, research his economic ideas and read fact, not opinion. Mercantilism is what he is proposing. Fascism is a 20th century form of it that adds the social and dictator elements. You can't have true facism in a democratic republic, but Trump's social positions are in that spectrum. With the power the executive branch has amassed and what the Constitution gives it with trade and foreign affairs, he would have a lot of prerogative to cause a lot of ruin on his own. Even if he is as good as he says he is and makes the perfect moves for America, do you want an economic system in place that required central planning by the Chief Executive and "winning" against our allies and leave that with future presidents, many of which are going to be like Hallary Clinton and Bernie Sanders?

This isn't a joke, this is serious. Bernie Sanders is a joke. If he won, we'd get 4 years of Larry David and very little government action because he doesn't have any power to get any of his far out ideas implemented. Please read and get educated on what this man you support because you want a 4 year reality show wants to actually do.

There is plenty that Trump has actually been consistent on. Start the research there. The flipfloppy schit is just smoke and mirrors to appease identity elements. I'm not going to change any minds. People have to change their own minds but they have to get educated beyond Fox News, CNN, blogs, Twitter, headlines, and opinion pieces.

GWB totally screwed the pooch, from picking Cheny as his VP to letting the wars dominate his administration to looking totally helpless as the economy declined. Until republicans repudiate GWB and get back to the historic conservative message, they are doomed, and quite frankly, they deserve to be.
I don't disagree, but this is about stopping Trump, not the political games. I urge all against him, democrat and republican, to unite and take him out. I hope we can have the D vs R debate in November, but if people don't get educated fast, that might have to wait until 2020.

RE: Koch Brothers Are Putting Their Foot Down
So far today: Trump has quoted Mussolini, refuses to disavow KKK endorsement, and admitted to hiring illegal immigrants.
