Wow. That's a big spread. 6 years between games.

Great that Temple gets the home game first. Maybe you end up buying out the return game... 03-nutkick

Temple cancelled a home game with Army to schedule this game with Geirgia Tech. I'm happy as Army can schedule a home game in place of this road game. Win win for both probably.

I'm kind of bummed. I like playing Army semi-annually.

fbschedules.com shows Army with six at home in 2019:

Morgan State
Rice
Tulane
San Jose State
UMass
VMI

Correct. The cancellation was Army AT Temple (it was a road game)

The entire Pac 12 will want to play in that new stadium. It will be good for everyone, except UNLV.

Hahahaha. I totally agree with you. I can’t believe UNLV is hazing their stadium to play in an NFL stadium when they could schedule 2 neutral site games per year in it. Houston scheduled a game like that vs Oklahoma. I think it’s so tacky for colleges like Miami to not have their own stadium. It’s cheap. BTW, are you guys going to be taking over the Chargers old stadium?

Hey, why doesn’t the MWC play their football CCG in Vegas? The MWC basketball tournament is one of the highest attended and the WAC 16 football CCG’s were sell outs too looking at the old numbers. ? That’s too obvious to me, so I’m guessing I’m missing something here....

I think it was decided at the time that attendance would be better with the best MW team hosting and to provide a home advantage for the NY6 bowl qualification.

Also, with the Vegas Bowl mostly going to the MW champ, it would be only a couple weeks for the fans to make a return trip back.

Yes, we already have. An announcement for an extension of the lease is coming by the new year. Furthermore, SDSU is currently designing its new stadium, which will be released in December. Also have offered the purchase the Mission Valley site and expand the campus there. Unfortunately, due to a competing Soccer initiative, things are moving slow, and one of two things will happen. First, the Council can directly adopt the SDSU plan (likely). If they do not, it goes to vote in November of 2018. It will get passed by voters, if the City Council does not directly adopt. This will allows SDSU to expand enrollment to 50,000 students as well.

There is a group of investors that SDSU was negotiating with for two years. Had SDSU stayed onboard, the plan for a campus expansion, commercial build out, and joint use stadium would have been directly adopted. However, SDSU backed out of the deal, and accused the investment group of dishonesty, and collusion with the Mayors office (Yes, seriously). Now, the Mayor and a City Council member are being investigated for leaking confidential information to the investment group.

The City Council voted against the Soccer folks as a result, and said that had SDSU been on board, it would have passed.

Bottom line, SDSU will be building a new OCS, expanding their campus to the Mission Valley site, as it is 2 miles away from the main campus.

RE: Home games vs P5 by conference from 2018 on
I took off the 2017 home games vs P5 as they are gone except a neutral site game left: Uconn vs BC in Boston on CBS-SN (shameless AAC plug)
The AAC still holds the lead but it’s only by 1 over the MWC. CUSA is in 3rd and The SB and MAC are way behind the pack right now in getting home games vs cartel conference schools.

Since this thread seems to cover it for all the boards, North Texas announced H/H with Cal. Berkeley in 2019, Denton in 2022.

I appreciate it when posters tell me politely about a home game I haven't seen posted. I make these posts and keep a careful eye on developments when they happen but sometimes I miss one. I've had CUSA fans accuse me of intentionally missing games but I can assure you, I don't manipulate this at all. I am a fan of an AAC team but I'm honest and count every game that is scheduled to the best of my knowledge. So thank you for politely informing me of a series I missed without accusations of manipulating these numbers.

MWC loses 1 as San Jose St dropped their home game vs Oregon St. Curiously in addition, San Jose St is not returning the USF home game they played this year in San Jose in week 0.
