NCAA has announced that they will host if we win today despite the fact that we are both #2 seeds.

Who will be the 2nd best team in the belt once they join?

Wow. Sounds like NCAA actually did the right thing rather than go for more $$.

Not as much as I did for the regional round but I did see where the SEC/ACC conferences have gone from 16 (?) or ever how many teams down to now 2 for the CWS as Miami along with the UF/FSU winner tonight advancing. The BIG 12 represented well as all 3 teams that made the NCAA's advanced to the CWS with Okie St, TCU and Texas Tech. I've always liked the underdog teams so I'll be pulling for Santa Barbara or Coastal Carolina. Arizona is the other team.

CWS teams with seeding in parenthesis
(1) Florida/Florida St winner
(2) Cal Santa Barbara
(3) Miami
(4) TCU
(5) Texas Tech
(6) Arizona
(7) Oklahoma St
(8) Coastal Carolina

Yeah Costal Carolina and Arizona wins were great. But UCSB walk off grand slam to win the game was awesome. I didn't see that coming. Truth be told, East Carolina really had no business losing game two. They gave that game away.

talking with some friends about that and did you notice the home plate umpire getting taken down when the dogpile started. Since all 4 runners had to touch home the ump was holding back the players so he could make sure the batter touched home. As the batter is rounding the bases you can see the players from the bullpen sprinting down the fencerow from the right field line/bullpen area. As the batter touches home the bullpen starts the dogpile and the ump goes down in the middle of it. After watching several angles you see the other umpires come and get him out of it and it appears he might've gotten cleated or elbowed or something as he's holding his forehead area while walking away. Definitely a classic moment though but what could've made the game better would have been had it been game 3 so it would've truly been a winner take all walkoff grand slam.

Yeah I did see him get stuck in there. Didn't know if had made it out or not lol. UCSB and Arizona are the only teams that weren't ranked going into the tournament. All the teams left were I believe. Definitely will be rooting for them. 10 #1 seeds were knocked out by lower seeds. Wonder what's the most its been.

As a USM fan nothing made me happier than seeing Ole Miss going 0-2 at home in the regionals and then seeing Ms State going 0-2 at home in their Super Regional.....just wished they would've not advanced out of their regional first.

Maybe an 0-2 count with 2 outs....the fact the batter was the winning run on the play was awesome itself

Goes without saying who I am rooting for. As a recent grad of UM I still have friends on the Canes baseball team. Two guys I know got drafted (one in the 1st!), which is pretty cool.

Let's face it the UCSB Walk Off Grand Slam by a Freshman against the Cartel-5's Highly ranked Louisville Cardinals for a slot in the CWS may be the No. 1 play of 2016! But KUDOS to Coastal Carolina are definitely in Order as well. Gives hope to the little folks.

There are other much smaller schools that have given hope "to the little folks" in college baseball...

No doubt. That is something that player, fanbase and baseball fans in general will never forget. That's what kids dream about as young players. Bottom of the 9th, down by 3, bases loaded and hitting a HR to send your team to the World Series.
