Season ticket renewals usually go out in July I think and single game tickets go on sale right before the season begins.

The Maryland game is on a Saturday...definitely a road trip day.

I agree your comment about cupcakes. It took our WBB program to make advances in order to be in this nice situation. I wish our MBB team could do the same, but we aren't even close. We need a bunch of cupcakes to get that deal on the move to where the girls are.

Last year, IIRC, the season ticket renewals didn't go out until August and it was ridiculous to try to get them. I had all kinds of problems (as per usual) getting them online and had to resort to the phone. I wish JMU would get a little more professional about that! Their IT department generally is one big MESS!

JMU's athletic ticket system is an outside vendor. The shortfalls of the software aren't JMU's fault, they just have to live with what the system can or can't do.

The Man's company attempted to do some business with JMU's IT department regarding the fact that their wifi is nonexistent in the Convo Center, and offering them a potential deal for the new one. They appeared interested at the time. Since then......crickets.

We call that lip service!

I neglected to mention it in the story, but Sean O'Regan told me back in April the #JMU women will also play at #UVa in November as part of the Cavalier Classic. Dukes also host Maryland's women. So plenty of fun matchups ahead.

I'll start a rumor - if we're playing at UVA this year, I'll bet them playing a JMU on their floor could probably make sense for 2020-2021.
