Have you actually listened to or read exactly what Ted Nugent said when he said it, or are you as usual just going off talking points you read somewhere else?
I saw the video. I assure you, Ted was not interviewed by Secret Service because they were concerned about his life.
OK then...here's a transcript of the entire conversation when he made the statement. I would ask you to point out exactly which part of it gave you the impression he was going to make an attempt on the life of the President.

I think these statements show a fundamental misunderstanding of what most ISIS attacks are. The attacks that are not clearly coordinated and centrally planned are not much different than what happened in Dallas, Orlando, or even Charleston, except they are done by Muslim nutters rather than non-Muslim nutters. Saying "I pledge allegiance to ISIS" is almost an afterthought, in that it allows the nutter to amplify his terror to some degree. But all of those acts are intended to cause terror.
Secretly joining ISIS and not publicly declaring allegiance to it would make no sense in an act like this. It's antithetical to the reason why someone would join in the first place.
i wasn't around when the sh!t went down. heard about it after the fact. my initial reaction upon the headline was immediately some extremist islamic group was behind it. but then i read and deduced. i didn't know it was during a blm march prior. still glad it isn't isis. i wager the hardass rhetoric on twitter still has a semblance of humanity.

ok. Dallas politics and decades of the likes of John Wiley Price may have set the stage for this to happen in Dallas. The part of the picture that the talking heads focused on is where the shooting incidents occurred, but they neglected the political and "community activist" aspects. I don't think the long-term history of race relations in Dallas is very good. If this were to happen in Texas, Dallas would be the likely place for it.
