a rumor that one of our beloved coaches is leaving for another job? Especially if he has no more substance than to admit it is a rumor? What good does he possibly expect to come from such a rumor? What foolishness.

It's even worse than that. He admitted that it's not really a rumor, but just idle speculation on a Houston radio show. Furthermore, the idiot goes on to claim that the A&M job is better than the Tulane job.

I have a theory: TulaneRon is LSUBud. The guyhas made a total of about 10 posts and every single one of them are inflammatory. I've already discredited him and totally disregard anything he has to say.

Over on Owlzone, someone pulled together a collection of posts from the A$M boards talking about Wayne Graham as a possible hire for the Aggies. I swear, College Station is a spaceport to Bizarro World.

That's just silly. Coach Jones turned down UGa to stay at Tulane but he's going to go to Aggieland? I don't think so.

Now I don't know about how their coaching search is going but it seems to me that it might be a good idea to make a run at Coach Schlossnagle. He's definitely a proven commodity, is a presence in Texas recruiting, and his present team is heading to that baseball nomansland, the MWC, so he might jump at the chance of coaching in the Big XII.

Well, the TCU boards think that if Schloss goes to eATMe, then TCU could simply hire Jones away from Tulane. It's their far superior facilities that will make the difference...

I think they would have as good, if not a better chance to hire the Rice head coach.
