In all seriousness, the speechwriter should be fired and publically named for putting Mrs Trump in a position to be humiliated in social media and the cable news goblins.

Will trump do that, who knows? Firing someone means admitting his campaign made a mistake, something he has not done too often if at all

Big picture this is not a big deal outside of a cycle of bad press

Actually they should spin this and make Mrs Trump a sympathetic victim. That wouldn't be too hard imo

Contrived controversy? Come on they had an okay night of speeches but a darn good prime time speech by the potential first lady. That would have been all that was talked about tomorrow morning. Instead they shot themselves in the foot! They blew it big time. They better have a much better Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
