Ask the fans in Lincoln how they feel about Minn, Wisconsin, NW, Illinois, Purdue and Iowa coming into town, then leaving with wins. My guess is they go from a disappointed "who are these teams?" to just plain disappointed.

And it will be very tough on OU to have nine Big Ten conf games + Texas + OK St every year. Can't see it. Probably the OK St game goes away, similar to Texas TA&M.

Poor coog fans just can't accept that there is zero real support for their program and its all just political CYA to avoid bad press and the inevitable coog whining cries of conspiracy when they don't get in. he does not know if expansion is really a good thing or not....not now and not in the future

he does not know what he will believe in 2025 because he does not know what he believes now other than he believes he needs to get out there and let everyone that will listen know what he is (not) thinking right now and say it and say it again until something changes and he needs to get out there and say something else

he is "playing poker" and "not being a wallflower"

how that ends up or what the end result is who knows if it is good he will say it is great and let you know about how great he is for coming up with it and making it happen

if it is bad he will remind everyone about how he was for what he was for, but he was for it long before anyone else and everyone else prevented it from happening sooner and so when they finally listened to him it was already too late so now he needs to take charge again and this time listen to him first instead of waiting until it is to late

or he will tell everyone he was really always against it, but he went along with it in the interest of unity and not being divisive, but this time he is going to stand up and be the leader and push for what he knows is right so things to not turn out bad this time

or he will say whatever BS he needs to say in the future

My guess is Baylor would've gone to the WAC, with TCU (and SMU & Rice) in 1996.

Be interesting to see what would've happened to them from that point. Would they have followed TCU around?

My guess is they would've always been grouped with SMU and TCU. Tcu wasn't very good when I attended school, but took off afterwards. Heck maybe Baylor would've done the same, but it is tough without the built in advantage of P5 status.

Or they would have been like Rice.
