Guess the score
Might the better play have something to do with OL line chemistry and improvement since the same guys have played two games in a row.

Everyone knows the most important player on the team is the linemen.

Plus the development and maturing of Buckshot as QB. Those first 3 losses were mostly with Masha at the helm.

RE: Guess the score
Well that was too close for comfort. An overtime win by 3 at home to GW? And here I thought we were getting better...

GW is a much better team than their record indicates

Guess the score
This was a weird weekend in college football. Lots of good teams had close games and some lost. I will take the win. Beats a loss.

Guess the score
Wow! Saw today we are ranked #26 in the nation, not too many points behind 25. Who'da thunk it!?!

If LU wins out, then a top 25 would be valid. Still, the GW game was another step back with a mediocre offense and strong defense. It just doesn't seem that Gill can get recruits and keep key players on the field to get LU over the near-FCS playoff caliber team. Several local and nearby teams have accomplished this. App St, GaSo, JMU, Richmond. LU seems stuck. As attendance has been "announced in the 16000's", seems like fans are also recognizing this. Have there been that many there? Camera shots at game time has shown the end areas on the student section and the visiting area on the home side with lots of empty seats.

Guess the score
It doesn't help at all to be surrounded on both sides by UVa and VT with their long history and large fan base. Liberty will have to gain the national fan (like Notre Dame). The potential is there with LU Online. The online U. needs to come up with a marketing package to draw new alumni as fans.

Virginia and Virginia Tech don't make it easy for Liberty but it isn't impossible. North Carolina has four ACC schools but that doesn't keep schools like ECU, App State, and others from having their moments. I agree that LU Online is our ticket to a national fan base. That's why I am in favor of a more national schedule. It will be expensive but it will be worth it in the long run if used well.

Honestly just broaden the "money games". I would say target programs across the country, that are in areas with high numbers of alumni, and go for those games while getting paid to go.

RE: Guess the score
Anyone else watch the Presbyterian game? Our offense looked bad, or more specifically, our quarterback play. I am glad our defense showed up to play because our offense couldn't move the ball despite turnovers and great field position.

Charleston Southern lost which sucks a little since we could have been the ones to beat them this week and it doesn't help us make the playoffs with their loss. We just need to beat them and we're in. They have a two game winning streak over us. Yes, CHARLESTON SOUTHERN has a TWO game winning streak over us! I guess I just find it incredible that a Big South opponent would beat us two years in a row with as many resources as we have and all the "FBS ready" propaganda we produce.

Whoop! Whoop!! We are ranked in the Top 25. I'll go ahead and guess the score for Saturday's championship game.

Win Liberty
Lose Chuck South

Charleston Southern 27 - Liberty 24

Liberty drops the game winning touchdown pass on 3rd down with less than a minute to go, then has the tying field goal hit the uprights and out.
