"A vote for Gary Johnson is a vote for Hillary Clinton"
....... except that polling indicates Gary Johnson is taking more votes from Hillary than Trump. And Jill Stein presumably takes nearly ALL her votes from Clinton.

Hillary is now at DefCon 4 and her SuperPAC is pouring millions into ad buys to convince Gary Johnson and Jill Stein voters to vote for her.

I can not imagine a single Gary Johnson voter pulling the lever for Hillary. Ever.

Good luck with that. Johnson/Stein voters are probably the most intensely-motivated and ideologically-informed constituencies out there.

Well the 1% who truly support them are. But both have a lot of soft support this year.

I can agree with that. I've never voted 3rd party but seriously considering it this year because the other two candidates are terrible. The only wasted vote is a vote for someone you do not truely believe in.

RE: "A vote for Gary Johnson is a vote for Hillary Clinton"
I don't know how Trump wins unless the Bernie cucks stay home. Here are the numbers that aren't voting for Trump:

White Women: 32% of the population, 75% not voting for Trump. ~24% overall vote
The Blacks: 12.6% of the population, 95+% not voting for Trump. ~12% overall vote.
The Hispanics: 16.3% of the population, 75% not voting for Trump. ~12% overall vote.
The Asians: 4.8% of the population, 75% not voting for Trump. ~3.6% overall vote.

24+12+12+3= 51% of the voting pool is anti-Trump.

Bernie cucks will win it or lose it for HRC. I think that they act like true cucks and stay home.

No, a wasted vote is voting for that f***ing pothead because you want all your rights taken away under an HRC administration.

I'd rather vote for someone I can stomach and lose than for someone I can't and win.

Stein is the outlet for Sanders supporters who feel that Clinton (much less Johnson or Trump) is too moderate. If Clinton can't capture the far left, she can easily lose the popular vote.

Where Clinton has to be concerned is Johnson making inroads in places like Ohio and Florida. The traffic jam just left of center on social issues can clear a path for Trump. If Trump wins those states it may be a long night for the Clinton campaign.

Engaging in mass hyperbole does not bolster your case Conn.

"Ad buys"

One of the biggest scams of all time.

- 0% effective at convincing a single person to vote a particular way
- funnels billions of dollars that come from donors into the coffers of TV networks
- and in return, they give kickbacks to the campaign managers as a "finders fee" for getting them the business

Should be illegal.

You can't believe polls. Media outlets will skew polls in order to get one side or the other to spend money on ads. I bet you that the results of the election will be much different than the polls.

They always are.

Notice that as soon as it started looking like Trump was finally finished and Clinton would skate to the finish line ... now magically Trump is roaring back.

The media doesn't give a s___ who wins. They care about spectacle. They care about entertainment. They care about theater. And above all, they care about attention, views, clicks, and ratings. And money, of course.

Perhaps, but there may be quite a few who were thinking of reluctantly voting for Hillary to keep Trump out, but as the issues continue to pile on her they're just saying "f this, I'm voting for that Johnson guy."
