Army enjoyed some MACtion and got Thumped by Buffalo, one of the worst teams in the MAC. Army's rubber bullets do not scare the MAC. :)

3 points is not a stumping.

It was an embarrassing loss which showcases the status of Army and the lowly status of the MAC. (The FBS version, not the Division 3 one)

Enjoy your fun little season until it is blown on a Tuesday during MACtion in front of 2,000 fans.

And then again, Directional Michigan 2.0 will be a memory.

Then again, I would be testy too if my team's greatest victories were over NW and Illinois.
Wow, very good! You are able to notice two teams that we beat this year alone.
Now who exactly that is significant did Army beat this year? Oh that is right, Army beat Temple. FWI WMU is 6-0 agianst Temple.
But wait, you did lose to the MAC's worst team this year, Buffalo. Our all time winning record against them is 5-2.

As an Army Vet that also roots for Army (behind my Alma mater ), i am greatly embarrassed by you as their fan. I have several friends that are West Pointers and your unwarranted and unfounded smack talk does not fit in with the honor and integrity that West Point, their Cadets and their grads are all well known for.

Smack talk? All of my facts on the MAC board were true and besides it is sports. A little smack talk is allowed and even fun. Douglas MacArthur would agree with me.

Thank you for your service.

You root for Army as well? Place it in your rooting section. We need more Army fans here.

Bless your heart.

Also, you signature is a lie. Army has only won 3 National Championships in football. 1944,1945, and 1946. The first two years was during WW2 and the last was the first year after the war ended. During WW2, all of the best were either already serving in the military or they were in one of the Military Academies. The two Heisman winners from 1945 and 1946 go with that. However, Pete Dawkins winning in 1958 is very impressive in its own.

Wrong again. They have claims to 1914 and 1916. Of course, a real fan of Army would know that. 1949 and 1958 can be claimed as well and I chose to do so. I wish that the Academy would push those claims. Everyone else does. Michigan State and USC are especially zealous.

Thanks for the information. I would have never know that. Oh wait, I do. Guess what, wins are wins. Army still had to play those games and all the best claim ignores all nuance.

Then again, why would a professed fan of Army wish to cut down our accomplishments?

We agree on Pete Dawkins.

Here is the deal. Despite what you say about Army's National Championships and your cliché attempt to place as asterisk next to them, the fact remains. Army has something Western Michigan will never have. A National Championship.

I was going to pull for the Broncos to go undefeated but you ruined that.

Lets not forget that you started this, with a needless and unrelated comment towards the school he supports (I believe because of his brother). Don't throw a punch if you can't take a punch back.

Though the attendance comment was unneeded, even we break 2000 fans a game.
Actually, he started it on the MAC boards. It has just carried over to here.

Oops, forgot about that, you are right.

I started nothing of value to start such censure.
And my weak top 25 comment was referring to the multiple P5 teams with losses. WMU and Boise State deserves their slots and I would rank both of them higher.

Still do despite the cruel barbs.

I have been an Army fan for 7 years long before any family members had a connection. I am no bandwagon fan.

RE: 10/2/16 polls
There were co-champs in the old days when multiple polls had different teams as the champs besides the AP. Some years had 6 or 7 different polls and had like 6 or 7 final number 1 teams. The years Harmon mentioned are the ones with many polls had different teams as the national champs.
