They are not the only ones. LOL. This is only an issue among the midgets. If Tennessee had 10k empty seats and announces a sellout nobody blinks.

Because it's hard to notice 10k missing from a 110k stadium. In North Carolina UNC takes a pretty good amount of crap for this because they'll announce crowds near sell outs and then it will look comically empty. No one notices or cares if you announce lets say 50k and only 45k show up. It's when you are announcing close to double what actually showed up that it becomes an issue, but even still it's the lamest of smack talk reserved for those who can't win games. Sadly ECU is the giant of G5 attendance smack so take that for what it's worth.

They likely have an actual count. Those schools' beat reporters likely aren't asking or FOIA the stadium authority to get those numbers. This usually is a sign of passive aggressive attitude by local media towards Non P5 schools. It's basically trolling because nobody is questioning butts in seats except at the mid major level.

Mid-major is a term used to describe the basketball conferences who rank around 13 through 18. Get that **** out of here.
Cheers!

Agree, that term is out of place around football topics.

Once again, this thread was started by a USF fan, and the one in the realignment forum was started by a random fan idk who he's a fan of.

You don't know what mid major is obviously:
1. A college basketball announcer used the term in the 70's
2. It was used in the context of college basketball only; never college football
3. It was used to describe basketball conferences that were constantly ranked behind the top 12 conferences.
4. Not even ESPN uses the term mid-major for basketball conferences not named SEC, ACC, Big 10, Big 12, PAC, MWC, AAC, A-10 and Missouri Valley.
5. The NCAA official designated the schools/conferences as major.
6. I suspect you are an ESPN apologist or started following college football 2 years ago.
Cheers!
