It's absolutely STUPID for the FIRST tie-breaker NOT to be head-to-head...whether it's for division championship or who host. How do people not understand this??

Overall C-USA Play ?

if there is a "tiebreaker" doesn't this imply that there is already a tie within "overall C-USA play"?

In other words, is Number One necessary ?

What bothers me is the wording, "recommended"....wtf does "recommended" mean?? Seems like it's left open for interpretation...?? Also, they still have "BCS ranking" as a tie-breaker...isn't the BCS dead??

La Tech has to beat UNT AND USM would have to lose 2 out of our next 3 games...that's not happening.

The winner of the LT/USM game (which will be USM ) will determine the west...UNT could very well beat LT this weekend...USM could very well drop a game to either ODU or UNT...that means it's still going to come down to the LT/USM game.

That is correct. Virtually no way the Tech/USM game isn't for the west title. We will see who wins though. I hope you are wrong on that one point of course.

If USM loses to UNT, USM would 2 west division losses
If Tech beats UNT and UTSA and then losses to USM, Tech would only have 1 west division loss So basically if USM losses @UNT than Tech would be West Diivision Champs regardless of what happens in Hattiesburg. Is this right or wrong?

USM would have 2 losses, but if they beat Tech, Tech would also have 2 losses and USM would have the head to head.

I haven't looked at the scenario for NTex or UTSA if we were to go into a 3 or 4 way tie at 2 losses or if that is even possible.

I dont think 4-way at 2 losses is possible at this point.
