Very quiet in here....
...especially when the Big 10 conference race is going to have a huge effect on the playoffs....

It's very possible the B1G could get two teams into the playoffs...most likely the Conference Champion and Ohio State, assuming the Buckeyes beat Michigan

It's about to get wild

If Ohio State wins out it's a lock for the 2 or 3 seed. It's also a possibility that Wisconsin should it win out other than the CCG would make it as the 4 seed.

If Penn State wins out, they have a strong case as Big Ten champs. Since they have gotten healthy, they have really settled in and have been playing as well as almost anyone.

I actually do not think Ohio State is a lock if they win out. They will be #2 tomorrow most likely, but without the chance for a conference title (if Penn State wins the next two games), there are probably 4 teams who can beat them out even if Ohio State wins out too. Basically it works like this:

1. If Alabama wins out, they are in.
2. If Clemson wins out and is ACC Champs, they will jump the Buckeyes.
3. If Washington wins out, they probably jump Ohio State being 12-1 and PAC-12 Champs.
4. If Penn State and maybe Wisconsin win the Big Ten Championship, they go above Ohio State.

It's doubtful all of this happens, but I actually felt much more confident about OSU's chances before last weekend. That said, I do think Washington will lose again.

Yes, with the craziness of this past weekend things are up in the air. Other things to keep in mind. Louisville has a good shot if they win out. Plus the Big 12 with WVU and OU (they play each other is coming weekend). The winner probably needs a few more upsets to happen and they MUST win out. But they have a sliver of hope with the happenings of the past weekend. They aren't dead yet.

Especially WVU sitting with only 1 loss has a glimmer of hope now that so many teams have fallen in front of them. If they win out they will have the 1 loss @Oklahoma State and will have a solid strength of record...although their marque wins at the top won't be as strong they will have played 11 of their 12 games against P5 opponents or BYU.

But I think WVU needs Washington State to beat Washington in the Apple Cup for the door to really open up for them.

Don't think that WVU can sneak into the playoffs this year....

I tend to agree with all this...

I think Wash St. wins the PAC 12
