As a former registered Republican and someone who votes for them more often than not, I can say with no uncertain doubts that the Democrat Party is nowhere near dead. They took an unexpected ass-whooping, but there will always be people looking to live off the taxpayers' dime.

With this much power, the republicans should never again have to worry about the Democrats.

All they have to do is put into place policies that improve the economy for people, and keep us safe.

It should be an interesting 4 years.

In 2008 the GOP was dead. In 2010 it was as strong again and by 2016 it was as dominant as in any point in its history

Agree, and if they win IMHO everyone wins. And they deserve a break. When Oblunder being a Black man didn't give a rats S about them what chance have they had? Here in El Paso they're not suffering but they're a very small minority, like 3%.
