well Christie didn't prosecute Trump's son-in-law father. Many say that SIL is one of the few that Trump actually listens to, so it isn't far fetched.

Not to change the subject but your comment made me think of Chelsea's husband and wonder if he may be sweating over the Greek bond deal. The emails seemed to implicate him in insider trading and that is something that the SEC is very sensitive about. Plus he lost money for some public pension trusts. With a new AG and Mary Jo White retiring from the SEC, the Trump nominees may very well be drafting a Wells Notice for Marc Mezvinsky.
