Resume' Building
Just about all the post season basketball tournaments are based on a resume' that allows a program to go to it. Thus it requires a program to have "good wins" and avoid "bad losses". Also, the conference in which a team plays has a major effect on the selections. At this point in the season we have one bad loss - Jacksonville St, one acceptable loss at Wichita St and one good win against Oregon St and one predictable win against New Orleans. So at this point i assume a committee would be putting us on the post season "watch list", but not on the "probably invite" list.

From here on out, we need to make sure we don't have any bad losses. And that begins Monday night against our nemesis, ORU. We really need to win that game and exorcise the demon at 81st and Lewis.

In the end, the committee's look at this:
1. Who did you play?
2. Who did you beat?
3. Who beat you?

IMO a committee will forgive a young team for an early loss, but not forgive a loss after "early" is over.

We need to beat ORU on their floor and do it convincingly if possible.

See you at the Mabee Center.

IMO
