To be fair, our run defense hasn't (normally) been terrible. The worst part has been the pass defense. So at least that runs in our favor.

The downside is that option teams usually dominate time of possession. Our defense gonna get exhausted and that will limit offensive possessions.

Tech played Navy in Ruston a few years ago (same coach). They had a really good QB cant recall name. Close game, I think they pulled ahead late.

I would still be a little concerned. They lost their starting qb at the beginning of the season and never missed a beat.

And nearly lost to a pedestrian Citadel team during the first transition season. And wasn't Cal Poly a TO team when they smacked around ODU in its second season.

I guess what we're saying is that given the option, ODU would give up 50 points and 600 rushing yards.

Yeah i forgot about that citadel thing if we haven't stopped their 2 pt conversion that would've been a disaster and you are correct about cal-poly they run that god forsaken TO too.

That matchup sucks for La Tech.... tough tip prepare for option.
