RE: Brohm to Purdue??
WKU fans don't buy anything until we hear and see it in a press conference.
We had reports that we were going to the MAC for sure 2 decades ago...

Back in 2008 we had hired Bobby Knight and he was in the locker room talking to the team.

We don't believe squat !!!!!!!!!!!!

That wasn't wise.

I don't need the money, but I will say if Brohm leaves, I'll be happy!

I'm with Signu on this one. He can do better. Doesn't seem like the right fit.

The only thing that makes it plausible is what dahbeed brought up with the family thing. Seems like that's an important factor for him.

But I would be surprised if this is the gig he takes. I expect Brohm to use this to get another raise and come back for one more year.

RE: Brohm to Purdue??
Can he recruit to Purdue as well as he can to WKU? I'd say yes, with all the P5 advantages. Could his current WKU team compete in the Big 10? Hell yeah.
What's the problem?

In for the $100. I agree he could (and should) do better than Purdue.

Believe it or not, Coach Brohm doesn't have an agent. At least he didn't last year.

Free money plz.

Also I get why people say Purdue isn't a good choice, but when you have that much $$$ dangling in front of you, it's hard to say no. Expectations at Purdue ain't too lofty.... If he's a good coach, he can make them a bowl team.

RE: Brohm to Purdue??
Have heard from a WKU insider, Purdue has offered Brohm 3.5 million and that he is their #1 choice...However he is not sure Brohm is interested in Purdue job, so right now its one sided with Purdue hoping he is listening.....I doubt Brohm has interviewed for any job this week, the guy doesn't have an agent and seems like he does not want an agent, we will see if that changes after Saturday...

I know coaches say all the time they are staying, but Brohm did an radio interview in Nashville yesterday on 102.5 the game, where he said he was a little different when it comes to the coaching carousel and $$ and all that stuff is not as important to him, so I guess we will see..I truly believe Brohm is a different kind of guy, not saying he will never leave but I think he is going to be more selective then a lot of you are wishing and are hoping....He had offers last year too, Virginia being one....IN the meantime he is there for the game tomorrow and that is all that matters, CUSA title!

In for 100 as well.

Also not sure Baylor is a better job at this point. Dust needs to settle about what happened. Better to be the coach after this next coach to rebuild. Going to be a lean year or two recruiting wise. But long term better.
