How about any reliable news source that doesn't make things up?
I'm sure you (or the majority of folks on here) are gonna say the "mainstream media is biased, too blah blah blah sis boom bah", BUT, they still get their news, no matter how "biased", from some source(s)...while the ones you mention just MAKE **** UP...
So, my friend, THAT'S the specifics...
You know, CBS has arguably been the gold standard among TV networks, but even CBS had Bernard Goldberg, who spilled the beans about how they spun everything to the left during the Dan Rather era.
When I watch CBS news, I figure I'm getting a leftist spin on things, by the standards of our time and place. When I read Breitbart, I can't help but notice the pretty over-the-top right-wing spin they put on everything. In both cases, though, the vast majority of claims made have *some* basis in fact. The difference is in the spin, and also in which stories each outlet decides to ignore altogether. Neither side's media reports things that are flat-out fantasy with any regularity (although Rather and his counterpart over at NBC Brian Williams have both been caught doing so).
CBS is definitely not a conservative news network, but "LEFTIST" is downright funny, Mr Where.
WE don't have the time or space to realistically dive into the issue of "REAL" or "FAKE" News.....but I can "say" this: IF NBC gives a news story a Lib'ral slant, or Feaux News gives an Alt-Right viewpoint, normally the background of the story is vetted through reliable reporters or sources (it is up to you whether you wanna believe these "reliable" sources). Fake News just makes chit up by piecing together little shreds of facts that are actually not connected in any way, but when combined, the info gives supposed credence to the reader's/listener's racial, political or religious biases.
FAKE NEWS was Herr Drumpf's so-called birther movement.
CBS, NBC, ABC, FOX gather real news stories pretty much the same way.....IT IS NEVER MADE-UP.....It may have a slant you don't like, you may not like their sources, and sometimes they don't get it 'xactly right (all of them, especially FOX)...but it is NOT FAKE NEWS.
This is what Herr Drumpf's goons want you to believe: Sure, we use FAKE NEWS sometimes, but ABC, NBC, CBS and CNN do it every day, too, so we're just giving you equal time.
That's a bald face LIE.....
The Dan Rather story about G.W. Bush's National Guard service was completely fake.
Brian Williams "bodies floating by" Katrina story was completely fake.
There is at least some infintesimal chance that Obama was born in Kenya, or that John Podesta is a pedophile. There is absolutely zero chance that Brian Williams saw bodies floating by his hotel.
Dayem...you pulled me back in
*Dan Rather was 100% right about Dubya being AWOL....only ONE small part of the story MAY have been incorrect, and only because the documents were copies, not originals...He was thrown to the wolves by his "lib'ral" news network (It was a 60 Minutes segment , not a news story by the way)..
*Brian Williams misrepresented a friggin' helicopter ride (Herr Drumpf calls it embellishment, if he knew the word )..
That all ya got?
*There is more chance Trump is part Orangutan than Obama was born in Kenya, so do we print BOTH or call em BOTH for what they really are----->Dumb.
Now...leave me alone so I can move on to more "impotent" things, like 'cruitin'....or a new AD....or basbol....or ANYTHING but more Drumpf!
