30-2 at home
19-13 on the road.

Makes an overall record of 49-15.

We're 3-3 in the C-USA tournament. Include that and that's a 52-18 record against C-USA teams since joining.

That got me to looking up MT's record since joining

27-5 at home,
19-13 on the road.

Overall = 46-18

7-2 in Coosa tourney. Total overall record is 53-20

Both Tech and MT pretty impressive.

Our coach is responsible (my opinion) for chasing off Terry Winn who was on the all-conference freshman team last year. Our best rebounder and a scoring threat at forward. He had to play out of position most of last year. Played first couple of games this year, smiled at coach when he should have been humbled, or something like that. He was sent home from the early season tourney before it was over and he then asked to be transferred. Already enrolled at UTRGV. Coach also lost a hot shooting forward that was sitting out last season due to transfer rule. He transferred again, this time to a junior college "to be closer to his girlfriend". Another good player left early to go "pro" and wound up somewhere in China to play ball, I believe. Another entered the NBA draft early but didn't get drafted. And on and on it goes.

Thanks for the info - now it made sense why UTEP didn't play good in the beginning of the season. Your team is getting hot at the right time though. I really thought you guys were going to win last night when your D shut us down in the last 4 minutes of the game.
