We know it won't happen because it would take A LOT of capital to build a military, remove U.S. assets from the state and not to mention the amount of people who would move from the state in order to remain as U.S. citizens. California also imports their power since they are so adverse to building their own power plants. Well, that goes out the window. And they can also go about importing their own petroleum, natural gas and other energy products too. How many refineries do they have? Guess they'll need to start building a bunch of them to go along with those new power plants.

Also, the rest of the country allows Californians to have a "green conscience" by eschewing the building of power plants and developing energy sources. They would have to throw all of that out the window and actually increase their carbon footprint. Heads would explode.

But Israel is not at the mercy of the environmental protectors like California. We can't do jack to fix anything because of the environmentalists. The state is again out of money, the municipalities are all broke. Our infrastructure is crumbling and all of our taxpayer $$$ is going to pet projects, illegals, and government programs.

The idiots out here may just vote to leave, but it would be devastating to California long term. Many businesses would see this as the final straw for a state that is very anti-business and they will re-domicile to surrounding states.

Idaho wanted to succeed and make it all white people state.
