Big Ten football schedules beyond 2019
https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.landof1...tmobile-us

Intersting that the Big Ten has not yet announced their schedules for 2020 and 2021. Especially since the schedules for 2018-2019 were announced years ago, and everything appeared to be set up for a 6 year cycle to run from 2016-2021, where every team plays every other cross-division team twice in 2 years.

Not sure what they are waiting for. The new TV contract has been signed. The parity scheduling part is not my favorite, but I figure they would just finish the 6 year cycle with the same parity schedule partners that play every year of the 6 year cycle.

OSU-Neb
Mich-Wisc
PSU-Iowa
MSU-NW
MD-Minn
RUT-ILL
INDY-Pur

Not much has changed in the pecking order from when this first came out. INDY-Pur is permanent, so that will never change. Wisc and Iowa have probably passed Neb, and Minn has probably passed NW, but it is still close. In the east MSU had passed Mich and PSU until they backslid, but there is a clear top 4 in the East. But more importantly, it is not that easy to change the parity opponents and keep the same 6 year rotation for the other folks.

So again, what is the Big Ten waiting for?
