Before yesterday I would've thought 84 lumber was a gay bar for octogenarians.

They needed some type of advertisement.

They are currently $1 for a 25 oz can. I've been buying up the whole stock from the local convenient store.

I do get it on occasion. It's not my favorite, but I'll actually take it over most Bud products. They sell 8 oz cans in a huge case of 48 for next to nothing (I think it's like 9 bucks) in the local Dirt Cheap alcohol stores.

I don't mind drinking cheap beer. My wife however insists on Bud light. However, even she endorsed Rolling Rock.

That's saying something.

I've tried Carta Blanca, Bush, Texas Pride, Natural Light, and PBL. She won't touch any of them. She won't even let me drink them because she claims the smell it too much for her.

Rolling Rock gets the thumbs up however.

Dang Fit, I've got to say your wife has good taste in beer if she won't drink that panther P's you just mentioned. But I also have to admit she's got no taste in men if she married you. Pobrecita. 03-wink

Bud Light has been my beer for decades. Guess Coors Light has moved to the beer of choice now.

Here is a number if you want to voice an opinion on the Anheuser Busch ad last night directly to the company. Evidently they have had a deluge of calls because they have created an extension exclusively for comments on the ad. The number is:
1 800-342-5283. If you want to email them, here is the link:

As far as Budweiser is concerned I know that they'll never lose business. Between my BIL and my neighbor friend they'll keep the company above water. Both are lushes. Let me tell you how much. My neighbor and his wife came to my house after going for a walk. He had a little bag and I asked him what he had and he showed me the 6 pack of bud he was carrying. He can't go weekends without beer. Oh well, it's his liver.

I have never shopped at 84 Lumber so they won't lose my business. It's either Lowes or Home Depot.

Well, I and some of my fellow golfers, really enjoy the Bud Light on the course and in the club house after. I can assure you, we as a group will find another beer. On the other ad, I have been a Home Depot buyer for many years.

Usually on brand that both places carry HD is cheaper. On simple things I'll go to Lowes because I like the atmosphere and it's closer. HD looks a little beat up, in other words dirty.

"We do not condone illegal immigration. The journey of the mother and daughter symbolizes grit, dedication and sacrifice. Characteristics that we look for in our people at 84 Lumber. President Trump has previously said there should be a 'big beautiful door in the wall so that people can come into this country legally.' We couldn’t agree more."

84 Lumber's commercial was timed to coincide with a national hiring campaign.

Of course fox made them edit the commercial. The unedited video on their website shows they clearly used Trump's words against him. But his mindless supporters can believe their alternate facts. 05-stirthepot

The game was good, though I wanted Atlanta to win.

The commercials were terrible. I got so tired of watching politically charges ads, I just started pausing the game so I could fast forward thru the stupidity. The election is over. I tuned in to watch a football game. These agenda driven companies need to stick with selling their goods.

I might've missed it but an AB historian said the Bud commercial was false.

When the populace becomes more free thinking and willing to do research on their own rather than rely on funded by bias media.

I think of all the ads, the only "pro-American" ad (yes, I know the Super Bowl is global) was the Hyundai ad with the service men in the "virtual reality" room of the superbowl.

A South Korean headquartered company giving us the only pro-American ad..

Absolutely Gdunn...

Again, Busch came over with his father's blessing.
His RICH father's blessing (the man was the heir to a fortune)
He attended one of the (if not the) best universities in Belgium
He worked his butt off almost as soon as he landed.

There were just so many things wrong with the ad, it was shameful
