My attitude towards someone is all about them as an individual, not them as a member of a group. I know this concept, of seeing people as more than their race/gender/sexuality/religion/.... But for me, and most grown adults, it works out pretty well.

My doctor, queer as a three dollar bill. I like the guy immensely so I'v ebeen his patient for 15 years, he's delivered my kids, and I've had to have some rather private talks about sensitive medical metters with the guy.

The Doc before him... Good conservative Christian... Who I did not like, so I left.

Just try for a week to treat people like Individuals John, who knows what relationships you can form.

I can see why parents would not be happy.

At the rate this nonsense is expanding?....The entire school day will be filled with Liberal do-gooder subjects that teach nothing valuable. I of course reject this as anything that should be taught in a classroom.

The next time someone asks why the US ranks so low internationally in the educational rankings you can show them this and say this is partially to blame. Our educational system is far too concerned with advancing leftist social engineering propaganda than teaching our children how to read, write, and do math.

This would be more akin to the teachers promoting an afterschool bible club than like the kids bringing a bible.

I would not, but the number of schools for which there is no near by equivalent or better private/charter for a large metro is usually less than 2.
