How to fix the MLS(Pro/Rel not withstanding): No postseason. Team with most points wins the trophy. May have to scale back the league and if you don't do pro/real that means cutting teams, but the league has gotten bloated and the new teams aren't bringing MLS fans, they are just bringing Orlando, Atlanta, etc fans.

Huddersfield/Reading Play Off Final predictably ends 0-0. Last Spot in Premier League next year comes down to Penalties.

It's a shame Wagner isn't the first US manager in the EPL. Bradley didn't deserve that title.

Also you know their first EPL match is going to be the featured match with a ton of Patrick Stewart shots 03-lmfao

Very true. I know Wagner is German American, but he's deserved the shot.

One of those clubs you hope does well and stays up as long as its not at the expense of your own club.

One of the more unique stadiums, hell two with BHA, are now in the EPL! Now we just need Burton to make a run next year and there will be the largest and smallest stadiums in top division soccer worldwide in the same league!

Also, Danny Williams should be included in every US match until further notice. He is the heir apparent to the Jermaine Jones spot for '14, and will do well to bridge the gap before Acosta and Adams can take over the middle.

Acosta got the spot ahead of him this latest run, though my guess is part of that is his club involvement running up until today.

I'm assuming he'll be on the Gold Cup Roster for sure in July.

VfL Wolfsburg will stave off relegation for the 2017-2018 season. They win 1-0 (2-0 agg.) over Eintracht Braunschweig in the Bundesliga relegation playoff. Very dissapointing, IMO.

You wanted Wolfsburg relegated? Or just rooting for the underdog?

Thimas Tuchel is OUT: Tuchel leaves Dortmund

My initial, knee jerk reaction is that this is a mistake, and that Hans Joachim Watzke is Jeff Compher's German half-brother. More details behind the rumors are sure to emerge, but I think it's going to prove to be a mistake in the long run.

Crazy...that's a dumb move for sure, and one that could set them back quite a bit. From all accounts, Tuchel was the person keeping most of the young talent at the team from looking elsewhere. I could easily see Reus heading to Liverpool now...

I wonder if Southampton would make a run at Tuchel since Puel has been getting lambasted by the supporters groups and press on the South Coast.

Pretty fun article by the Ringer, an U-23 Draft for all of the international footballers. Can't say I agree with it all (Pulisic is WAYYYYY too high and Dembele and Dolberg are WAYYYY too low), but there are some pretty interesting player comps in there.

I hadn't read anything about it, but the Tuchel to Southampton stuff seems to be flaring up...that would be a VERY interesting hire given the talent already there. I think he could find some great ways to use Cedric, Boufal, Tadic, and Rodriguez together. I would think he could probably bring a player or two along who would be able to fill regular minutes (Pulisic or Sahin) too.

In other transfer news, looks like Brooks is heading to Wolfsburg for some reason. Largest American transfer fee at €17M.
