I don't think I've ever seen a game flip that quickly and decisively from two immediate subs. Extremely tough for Tottenham...held more of the ball and drastically out shot Juve...but you've got to have those shots hit net.

Toronto beats Tigres UANL 2-1 at home. Seattle beats Chivas Guadilajara 1-0 at home. Somehow MLS has 3 first leg advantages over Lig MX in the CCL Quarters heading into next week.

Lot of work to do for all of them though.

Big Sam says he wants to stay at Everton long term and is in talks with their owners over a contract extension.

I'm sure Purple Reigns is thrilled with the news.

Historically, they've been owned by Lig MX. Those are some good wins, especially considering the timing of the tourney with respect to MLS schedule....

Luckily Big Scam has lied so much that we don’t trust a word he says.

Arsene Wenger's corpse has shown signs of spasm...Milan looked absolutely horrendous.

Speaking of horrendous, Dortmund look downright lost now.

What's the deal with Dortmund? I know they lost Aubameyang but they have Reus back. Maybe it's the manager?

It's absolutely the manager. He's a high floor, low ceiling guy with the way he coaches...much less aggressive, but that negative affects the attacking players who have been playing the exact opposite for the better part of a decade. Add to that the fact that their defense has been pretty poor, and you're got a team sliding down the table.

On the flip side, Schalke and Frankfurt have been immensely fun to watch.

While we're on the topic of Germany...Chris Gloster just signed a contract with Hannover, which makes it three USMNT youths signing for Bundesliga clubs since January 1st (along with Sargent and Zyen Jones). I'm liking the movement by our youth to get out of MLS, because they have proven for the most part to not be willing to play young guys.

Oh Jordan Ayew...that is a terrible time to get yourself a straight red. Now we've got to defend with 10 min for 80 minutes away to a relegation rival, and then survive 3 more games without him.

Thankfully one of the three is Spurs in the FA Cup, which isn't a league game, and another is away to Man United. But its today and the final match against West Brom that worries me.

Huddersfield has had 82 percent possession in the first half against Swansea as a result.

That was friggin monumental by the Swans back line...Ayew on the other hand...

At least it wasn't as ridiculous as Knockaert.

Pretty much. We're probably screwed next weekend in the FA Cup Quarters, going up against Spurs without Ayew, and his brother and Andy King still cup tied, but at least that match will use up one of the 3 he has to sit.

The other positive is that the match we were scheduled to play against Southampton next weekend probably won't get made up until after Ayew's ban is complete, meaning the only games he'll really miss is Man United away, which we were going to always have to pray for a point, and West Brom away, whom is in Free Fall, and a game we're targeting 3 points with or without him.

All in all, you take the point and get as far away from Huddersfield as you can, especially with all of the teams around us losing except for Newcastle.

He’ll be getting at LEAST 5 matches.

Harry Kane goes out of the Spurs/Bournemouth game early with an ankle injury. I think a nice 3 week break could do him some good right now. Take a breather Harry and save your goal scoring for the league. Ignore that silly cup Match next weekend.

Hopefully he recovers. Doesn't he usually get hurt before a World Cup? Or am I just making that up?

72,000+ attended the Atlanta/DC United match this weekend. Pretty impressive.

They could've had the same in Cincinnati, but they decided to add a team in a market that already failed and a team that still doesn't technically exist.

Was there a pre/post or halftime performance that drew fans or was this purely a soccer crowd?
