A man in Austin, Texas is suing his date after she was texting during Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. She eventually left the movie theater and went home leaving him without a ride. You can read more here.

First off, props to him because it takes some serious cojones to this guy ask his date to pay for her half of the date after the fact. Second, if it was really as serious as she claimed, I am sure that he would have let her leave had she properly explained what was going on. Lastly, I will really be trying to watch this case closely because I am really interested on how it turns out.

Side note Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is a phenomenal movie.

Well this case did not end the way I would have hoped for, but the case has basically been settled without the need of the court. She paid him the money back for the movie ticket and they each went about their merry way.
