Don't worry he played through it all this year and this was planned for a while. He is going to be fine for this year.

Here's a article about him and it says "He also played all season with a hip labrum tear that will require surgery." Great read as well, the kid is going to be special. Just from some quick googling it seems like 4-6 months recovery but an athlete will recover a lot faster. I expect him to be ready for the season.
