Interesting.... and since, IMO Disney ....ABC... Marvel ..... MCU as Netflix originals.... AoS ABC .... It will be very interesting to go down that path.

The other side is, Disney offering being pulled for their own service... so..

What does Netflix do?
What does Disney's new service do?
--and all the factors that go with that.

RE: Netflix vs. Disney
I've been saying that Disney was going to do this for years now and will soon deliver the death blow to cable television. You could see them headed this direction years ago when they started making all those acquisitions. Now look for Disney to once again start acquiring media rights and ramp up production for new original online series.

The Marvel Netflix stuff will stay on Netflix because they're producing them. But, everything else is gone: movies, TV shows, the 30 for 30 specials, and whatever else I can't think of at the moment.

I'm actually surprised that it took them this long.

If you think about the catalog Disney and it's branches own, they've got more than enough content to have their own streaming service/channel.

Looks like Netflix will have to stick to doing more Bill Nye Saves the World garbage.

At least till 2019. Disney needs time for their streaming service to get developed.
