open on non-event days too.

anybody eaten at one of them? Looks like a chicken place.

During the last Frisco trip I ate at one. Pretty good fast food chicken place. That Raising Cain's sauce is no joke.

I did the same in Frisco as there was one right near the Omni. Thought it was pretty good.

Thanks. Notice how the configuration showing the venue set up for concerts looks different than the previous two. But, no big deal as the message being projected is that the facility will be utilized for more than just hoops and graduation exercises.

Just think, this time next year they ought to be getting really close to buttoning things up and putting finishing touches on a lot of the new digs. Still not finished, but getting close that is.

That image is weak because it's one of the original renderings. You can see individual court-side suites in the dark but that concept got tossed a long time ago for whatever the reason.

Court side suites, you mean the "boxes" up on the concourse area? They won't be there? If not, what will be? Additional regular seating? Nothing? Concessions? Curious.

" A campaign for an additional $1 million was launched by the JMU Duke Club in spring of 2018 in order to maximize the build-out of the facility. As of May, 2019, that campaign sits $150,000 short." Maybe someone who is enraged about UVA Orthopedics being on the court could pony up that money and get them to reconsider where they're putting it.

I’m going to go out on a limb and say 85% of those outraged on social media don’t give a dime to the duke club.

Therefore, all complaining are cheap bastards whose POV is silly.

Not completely, but everyone can give something. This particularly true if one supposedly cares.

If one is a duke club member your views should be cared about, but if someone doesn’t even care enough to give? I really don’t care with the one caveat being former athletes who gave in a different fashion.

For better or worse the folks that give the most will have the ear of people and that is true in everything in life, like it or not. It’s true in business, it’s true in fundraising, and it’s certainly true in politics.

No no no. I was (sarcastically) saying out loud what was implied. “All of these complainers don’t donate.” I donate.

I realize that which is why I used the term one and opposed to you which would have implied I was talking directly to you as a person.

I believe my son and I spoke to you and a friend at the Colgate game so I know you are a true supporter. My only point was that money makes the world go round for better or worse.

Yep, that was me & BJK at Colgate. Definitely remember you & your son. Sorry for my accusatory tone. That was intended for Potomac.
