NCAA spokeswoman Stacey Osborne confirmed to ESPN that Ole Miss seniors will be allowed to transfer without penalty because of the postseason ban for 2018. According to NCAA rules, "It is not necessary for an institution to obtain permission in writing.

yep. That's why taking the bowl penalty this year was so smart, because it made it where only seniors can transfer instead of juniors and seniors.

got word that juniors are eligible too. and any underclassman would likely be approved by application waiver

No, its just seniors
It won't just be seniors. Mark it down.

And per usual, they don't like the punishment and plan to appeal.

If the NCAA follows their own rules, it will be. Plus, Ole Miss is appealing, so I do not believe players will be allowed penalty-free transfer while the appeal process is ongoing.

It's a hard NCAA rule. It will absolutely be just seniors.

You are wrong. Ask Houston Nutts lawyer and his new clients. Wait and see. I've called this right at every turn since it started.

But yeah. Ok. Believe what you want. Im not gonna debate it.

Why would I ask Houston Nutt? The Nutt-Ole Miss case was settled out of court. Further, that case has nothing to do with NCAA eligibility issues.

What a preposterous, far-flung connection you just tried to make.

Ok. None of the current recruits were mislead and now have legal representation. You got a good bead on things. Believe what you want. I don't give a shite at this point. Your program has been nuked. Nothing else is coming. Celebrate. Lol.

Enjoy the bowls.

Well based on the performance of the teams you pull for I can understand your low expectations. There is a little more to it than that. But yeah. Celebrate.
